Artifact OS
Architecture and interface experiments for taking a project from brief through production, review and delivery.
Inside the project
Give creative work a traceable path to finished.
- Brief
- Make
- Review
- Package
Where it started
A folder full of outputs does not explain which version is accepted, why it changed or whether it answers the brief. Artifact OS grew from the need to make those relationships clear.
What took shape
The project defines a lifecycle for briefs, source assets, specifications, iterations, reviews and packaged work. A separate disposable interface prototype explores how that process could feel in use.
What the work revealed
Detailed specifications and a prototype interface are meaningful work, but they are different milestones from a complete production application. The project record keeps those stages separate.
The next step
Prove one small end-to-end workflow with real inputs, useful review and a recoverable final package.
