Where it started
Sandy’s reference photos provide the character cues: silhouette, coloration, eyes and expression. The challenge is keeping those recognizable as the object becomes small and printable.
What took shape
The work includes a slot-together kit direction and separate miniature studies, with decisions about independent eyes, bases and color parts. QR-linked storytelling remains an idea under exploration.
What the work revealed
A convincing image is only one step. Small parts must also print, fit and retain the intended expression. Studies that adapt outside models also need clear attribution and reuse permission.
The next step
Resolve the source-model permissions for any shared geometry, then select and physically test a specific miniature.
