Where it started
Text alone can miss what a tutorial demonstrates on screen. Brian wanted the transcript and the visual explanation to travel together without losing the original source.
What took shape
Scribr combines transcription with timed screenshots and reviewable context. Recent work added saved progress between processing stages, image accept/reject decisions and a simpler Complete pack download.
What the work revealed
Longer material exposed failures that short tests missed: a slow image stage could interrupt other work, and reimporting a compact pack could fail. The recorded repair and installed-app checks covered recovery, export and reimport with images and decisions preserved.
The next step
Continue improving local processing speed and the usefulness of suggested context while keeping human review visible.
