Device-tested pilots

Wing & Light

A native iOS game pilot refined through simulator work and focused physical iPhone tests.

Saved simulator capture of the calm-mode interface. Brian reports physical-device testing separately; this screenshot itself is simulator evidence.

Inside the project

One touch, a little lift, a quieter kind of play.

  1. Touch
  2. Fly
  3. Respond
  4. Try again

Where it started

Wing & Light explores a simple interaction with a gentle visual atmosphere: a small input should feel responsive, readable and comfortable to repeat.

What took shape

The SwiftUI/SpriteKit pilot combines flight, calm-mode presentation and game feedback. Development work includes settings, sound, persistence and how the game behaves when the app leaves and returns to the foreground.

What the work revealed

Hardware testing surfaced details a still screenshot could not prove. The record includes owner checks of a revised Game Over sound at different volume settings and alongside external audio.

The next step

Preserve that comfortable interaction while refining the complete play session and device behavior.

Saved home-screen capture from the pilot. The screen documents the interface, not a public App Store release.
